Christian Education for the Youth

Sunday School Classes

Sunday School Classes are held at 9:45am September thru May/June. Each Sunday the children start the morning with some singing and a Bible Story. From there they brake into groups to further explore the story they heard in the opening. Each week offers a different experience to help teach the story, from arts & crafts, cooking & baking, music, dramas and more. Children are encouraged to bring friends with them and have fun, so join us Sunday morning at 9:45.

Youth Gatherings

Every 3 years we send our eligible high school aged youth to the national ELCA youth convention to meet, learn and help others in the name of Jesus Christ. These conventions happen all over the country providing our youth with an opportunity to travel and see other parts of the country. To learn more about these you gatherings click here.

Temple also participates in retreats with our middle school aged children to places like Harvey Cedars in NJ and Washington D.C. Contact the church office to fine out more about these opportunities.
